Today, the need in Yemen is even more urgent and desperate.

WELFARE AID INTERNATIONAL 3rd Yemen Appeal- NEW TARGET $500,000

Thanks to your donations, the latest aid provision in Yemen was carried out in October and included food and water distribution, as well as school bags for children. Over 5000 needy people received support in that campaign. We have also been able to sponsor the basic living expenses of 100 Yemeni orphans until the end of June. Thank you for all of your generous support.

The next round of aid is aimed at the wide distribution of medicines to help relieve the symptoms of Dengue fever and Cholera especially in the hot climate of Hodeidah. These medical campaigns can be life - saving and we hope we can count on your support.

What about the blockade?
While there is a blockade enforced on Yemen, there are still supplies within the country that can be purchased by volunteers and distributed to those most in need. While this is a limited relief effort, it is still effective and will save people's lives.
