After over 6 years of conflict, the United Nations has estimated that four in every five Yemenis are in dire need of humanitarian assistance. This situation has been made even more desperate with the emergence of the coronavirus pandemic. This situation has drawn worldwide support for the vulnerable and the Australian community has also been part of this global effort. 

Since its inception, Welfare Aid International has been particularly focused on assisting the medical fraternity in Yemen to provide life-saving medication, personal protective equipment and more. With our partners WABIL who work directly on the ground in Yemen, we have been able to direct assistance to where it's needed most.
