Partnering with "A Helpful Vision' a CAS project of Alazahraa School for the first well delivered in the new Islamic year.

The well is built in the Kisimani area of the Tanga region of Korogwe District, of Mkumbara ward which is approximately about 342 km away from Dar es Salaam where access to clean water was a serious problem. Villagers had to travel long distances in order to obtain water for drinking and domestic use.

Drinking unsafe water is unhealthy and promotes diseases like cholera, dysentery and typhoid and at times has proven fatal for children.

With the support of the sponsor, WIPAHS was able to build a water well enabling the villagers to get access to clean water for drinking and domestic use. Having a source of clean water supply has proved to be a great blessing as they no longer have to travel miles looking for clean water and utilize their time in earning their living. Around 290 Families have benefited from the water well.
