The recent escalation of the conflict in Afghanistan means that many families and orphans who were already living in difficult circumstances are now facing even greater difficulties. In the last few weeks, thousands of families have been displaced from their homes and cities.

This year, we are focusing our efforts on emergency relief for the people of Afghanistan. Many of the displaced families have taken refuge in Kabul and Mazar-e-Sharif.

Our partner organisations have networks of volunteers on the ground in these cities and are ready to distribute and deliver aid to displaced families as well local families in need of desperate assistance.
